Hearths Warming with the Sparkles

After several days and sleepless nights, I'm finally done! WOOOOO!!!!

Twilight: So anyway, everything has been pretty... normal here.

Tempest: Nova Caelum Flare, what do you think you are doing!?

Nova: I just want to see if mixing Ms Applebloom's potions will have a negative effect on the magical matrix of my previous formul-

Tempest: What did I say about mixing potions during family gatherings?

Nova: [pouts and sighs] Not to.

Tempest: And what are you doing now?

Nova: But mother! It's just a little tiny experiment. I promise I won't explode the tree this time!

Tempest: 'This time'? When was the first time?

Nova: Uhhhh... O-oh, hey, Siri what are you reading there? Something Cool?

Sirius: We do not wish to be involved in your scolding, Nova. Cease your diversions and speak clearly to your mother.

Nova: Meanie. Hey Haze, are you-

Hazy: [singing to himself] ~Happy hearts so full and bright, Hearth's Warming Eve is here once again~

Nova: Stars above, you are such dork, Haze.

Tempest: Oi, don't think I've forgotten what you said, Nova. Now Explain to me what tree you exploded before!

Twilight: [Chuckle] Yep, totally normal.

So my Sparkle family hanging out for Hearth's Warming Eve, being their normal selves. Twilight is speaking through a mirror Designed to act as a means of instant communication. It's not perfect but at least she can talk to her friends and family in the Crystal Empire. All the while, her family is being... themselves.

Tempest tries to keep control even though she knows how slippery her daughter is. Nova is trying to not blow up the room but most likely will since she never thinks things through. Sirius just wants to continue his work but was dragged into the room but a very enthusiastic Hazy. And  Hazy is singing Hearth Warming carols to himself cause he fucking loves the holiday season!

A few details to note:

- I made Tempest's Cutiemark the storm King's symbol since I think it would make more sense. She was his commander for much of her life and devoted herself heart and soul to his endeavors. It only fits that she would bear his mark. At one point, it might had filled her with pride but now it just reminds her of her past mistakes and regrets. Still, Twilight will kiss the mark and say how she adores everything about Tempest, even the mark that brings about the most shame.

- Hazy's Eye. So ya'll must have noticed that in most of the pics of Hazy (the few there are) that he's wearing an eye patch. This is why. He is blind in his right eye. He mostly wears the eye patch because ponies get freaked out by his eyes. He doesn't mind too much but Sirius gets very agitated when he sees it so for his big bro, he'll do it. Today however, he has to go without. The holiday spirit in him could not be contained by the patch.

- The mirror. Originally planned to make a pat two of this pic, showing the other side of the conversation she's having but time was not on my side. Long hours at work and all that. Anyway, I'll make a part two next x-mas(If I remember).
